EIL Associate Engineer Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPI in the prescribed engineering qualification.
Mechanical/Metallurgical Inspection
For Position Code A, candidates should have:
BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns/towers, reactors and other major fabricated static equipment manufactured according to ASME standards.
Experience involving pumps, compressors and similar equipment manufactured/tested as per API standards for refinery and petrochemical services is desirable.
Sound knowledge of welding processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings and codes is desirable.
Electrical Inspection
For Position Code B, candidates should have:
BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in inspection of electrical equipment such as switchboards, motors, transformers, alternators, synchronous generators, VFDs, UPS systems, electrical control systems and battery chargers.
Knowledge of power cables, control cables, light fittings, junction boxes, cable jointing kits and cable glands.
Knowledge of relevant IEC, NEC and IS codes.
All educational qualifications and experience requirements are to be fulfilled as on 31 August 2026.

The selection process consists of screening followed by a Personal Interview.
