MAHA Metro Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
The educational qualification and experience requirements vary according to the post.
Junior Engineer Posts
For Junior Engineer positions, candidates should have a full-time B.E./B.Tech or three-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institute or university.
For B.E./B.Tech candidates, a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience is required. Diploma candidates generally require 5 years of relevant experience.
The relevant experience may be in Metro Rail, Railway, Railway PSUs, PSUs, Government organizations or Metro-related infrastructure industries, subject to the pay/CTC conditions specified in the notification.
Senior Office Assistant (PR/Library)
Candidates should possess a full-time degree in Library Science or Mass Communication from a recognized institute or university.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in PR, administration/PR, corporate communication, event activities, office reporting, press releases or related work is required.
Office Assistant
Candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized institute or university.
The post requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in areas such as document control, reception work, letter drafting, HR, accounts-related activities and office administration.
Technician Posts
Candidates applying for Technician positions must generally possess the relevant ITI qualification under NCVT/SCVT.

Diesel Mechanic for Technician (RS/Diesel Mechanic)
Electronic Mechanic for Technician (S&T/ElectroMechanic)
Candidates must also have the required 3 years of relevant experience and satisfy the prescribed pay-scale or CTC conditions.
Multi Tasking Staff cum Motor Driver
Candidates must have passed at least SSC from a recognized board.
The applicant should have 5 years of experience in multi-tasking work and driving official vehicles in the administration department of a Government organization or PSU. A valid four-wheeler LMV driving licence is also required.
Attendant
Candidates should have passed at least HSC from a recognized board.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-tasking office work, file handling, dispatch work and related activities is required.

MAHA Metro Salary 2026
Selected candidates will receive salary according to the applicable IDA pay scale.
The pay scales range from:

₹16,000 – ₹50,000 for Multi Tasking Staff cum Motor Driver
₹20,000 – ₹60,000 for Technician posts
₹25,000 – ₹80,000 for Office Assistant
₹33,000 – ₹1,00,000 for Junior Engineer and Senior Office Assistant posts
Selected candidates will also be eligible for DA, perks and other allowances, if applicable in MAHA-Metro.

Candidates who fail to meet the prescribed medical standards will not be offered alternative employment.
