The West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (WBMSC) has officially released Advertisement No. 16 of 2025 for the Recruitment Examination 2025 to fill vacancies under the Tarakeswar Development Authority (TDA). Online applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil), Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil), and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) from eligible Indian citizens.

1. Assistant Engineer (Civil)

2. Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil)

  • Pay Scale: Level-12 (₹35,800 – ₹92,100) as per ROPA 2019

  • Qualification:
    Diploma in Civil Engineering from AICTE-recognized institution

  • Age Limit:

    • Maximum: 36 years

    • Minimum: 18 years

3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

  • Vacancies: 01 (UR)

  • Pay Scale: Level-6 (₹22,700 – ₹58,500) as per ROPA 2019

  • Qualification:
    Madhyamik or equivalent + Certificate Course in Computer Applications

  • Age Limit:

    • Maximum: 40 years

    • Minimum: 18 years

Note: Age will be calculated based on Madhyamik certificate only.

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST (West Bengal): 5 years

  • OBC (West Bengal): 3 years

  • PwBD (40% & above): Up to 45 years

  • Type: OMR-based Objective Test

  • Questions: 100 MCQs

  • Marks: 200

  • Negative Marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer

  • Duration: 1½ hours
