Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released the official notification (Advt No: 17004/NAMU/HR/2025/FTE/01) for the recruitment of Fixed Tenure Deputy Engineers (E-II Grade) for its Navi Mumbai Unit. The recruitment is open for young and dynamic Mechanical Engineering graduates willing to work on challenging defence and strategic projects across India.

BEL Deputy Engineer Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess:

  • B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) / AMIE
  • Discipline: Mechanical Engineering
  • Institute/University must be AICTE/UGC approved

Minimum Marks Requirement:

If the candidate’s degree uses CGPA/OGPA/DGPA, they must upload percentage conversion proof issued by the institution.

BEL Deputy Engineer Recruitment Age Limit (as on 01.12.2025)

  • General: Maximum 28 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
  • SC: 5 years relaxation
  • PwBD: 10 years relaxation (in addition to above)

BEL Deputy Engineer Salary 2025

Selected candidates will receive pay in the following scale:

  • ?40,000 – 3% – ?1,40,000 (E-II Grade)

Additionally, they are entitled to:

  • Dearness Allowance
  • House Rent Allowance
  • 35% of Basic Pay as perquisites
  • Performance Related Pay (PRP)
  • Group Insurance
  • Medical Facilities
  • PF, Pension & Gratuity

BEL Deputy Engineer Selection Process 2025

The selection process consists of:

1. Written Test (85 Marks)

Minimum qualifying marks:

GEN/OBC-NCL 35%
SC/PwBD 30%

Written test centres: Mumbai and Kochi

2. Interview (15 Marks)

Candidates will be shortlisted in 1:5 ratio based on written test performance.
