Essential Qualification IOCL Apprentice Recruitment
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics, Instrument, Machinist): Must have passed 10th Grade with a 2-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, etc.): Must have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field. A minimum of 50% marks is needed for General and OBC categories and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- Graduate Apprentice (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc.): Must have a regular full-time Graduate degree in any discipline. A minimum of 50% marks is needed for General and OBC categories and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD.
Please note that qualifications obtained through distance learning, part-time, or correspondence mode are not eligible. Candidates with higher qualifications like B.E., MBA, etc. are also not eligible to apply.

- The selection of candidates will be based on merit.
- A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the required qualification.
- There will be no written test or interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- A pre-engagement medical fitness test is also required.
