Essential Qualification TIFR Scientific Officer,Scientific Assistant and Administrative Assistant Recruitment

  • Scientific Officer (C)
    • Full time B.Tech or Masters in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Instrumentation or related) with 60% marks.
  • Scientific Assistant (B) (Physics/Optics/Instrumentation related)
    • Full time Science Graduate (Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Instrumentation or related) with 60% marks. OR
    • Full time Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Instrumentation or related) with 60% marks.
  • Scientific Assistant (B) (Chemistry/Biochemistry related)
    • Full time Science Graduate (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry) with 60% marks.
  • Administrative Assistant (B)
    • Graduate degree with 55% marks.
    • Proficiency in word processing, database, or accounting procedures.
    • 5 years experience in Accounts, Purchase, Stores, General Admin, or Establishment.

Salary details TIFR Scientific Officer,Scientific Assistant and Administrative Assistant Recruitment

Rs.71,070/- to Rs.1,14,945/- per month

Selection Process TIFR Scientific Officer,Scientific Assistant and Administrative Assistant Recruitment

  1. Scientific Officer (C) & Scientific Assistant (B) posts: Selection will be through a Written Test and Personal Interview, or Personal Interview only.
  2. Administrative Assistant (B) post: Selection will involve a Written Test and Skill Tests.
  3. The Institute may conduct tests or interviews online or in-person.
