Essential Qualification ISRO Scientist / Engineer Recruitment

All qualifications require a minimum aggregate of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84/10. Candidates in their final year (2024-25) are also eligible to apply.

  • Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Civil) & (Civil)-PRL: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Electrical): BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Refrigeration & A/C): BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant electives.
  • Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Architecture): Bachelor degree in Architecture and a valid registration with the Council of Architecture.

ISRO Recruitment 2025 Age Limit (as on 14-07-2025)

  • Maximum Age limit: 28 Years
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Salary details ISRO Scientist / Engineer Recruitment

Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ?56,100/- p.m

Selection Process ISRO Scientist / Engineer Recruitment

  1. Written Test: A single paper of 120 minutes. It has Part A (80 questions on discipline) and Part B (15 aptitude questions).
  2. Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio based on written test scores.
  3. Final Panel: The final selection is based on 50% weightage to the written test and 50% to the interview marks.
