Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules. SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC get 3 years, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) get 10 years of age relaxation. Government servants can also get relaxation up to five years.
Essential Qualification GSSC Junior Engineer,Electrician and Other Recruitment
Knowledge of Konkani is essential for all posts. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable for all posts.
- Accountant: Bachelor of Commerce or Arts with Economics.
- Assistant State Tax Officer: Degree, preferably in Economics or Commerce, with 2 years of experience.
- State Tax Inspector: Degree in Commerce and Economics with 1 year of work experience.
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil): Degree or Diploma in the relevant engineering branch.
- Extension Officer: Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture and knowledge of computer applications.
- Station Operator: 10th Grade with ITI Certificate in Electrician trade. Or 3 years experience.
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Wireless Operator): 10th Grade with a Diploma in Electronics.
- Mechanic Grade I (Diesel): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI with 3 years experience.
- Agriculture Assistant: 12th Grade (Vocational) or 10th with a 2-year Diploma in Agriculture.
- Electrician: ITI Certificate in Electrician with 2 years of practical experience.
- Lineman/ Wireman: ITI Certificate in Electrician trade with 2 years of experience or a National Apprenticeship Certificate.
- Meter Reader: 10th Grade with ITI Certificate (Electrician/Electronic) and a Diploma in Computer.
- Assistant Electrician: ITI Certificate in Electrician trade with 3 years of experience.
- Assistant Mechanic: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics with experience or ITI with experience.

Selection Process GSSC Junior Engineer,Electrician and Other Recruitment
- Written Exam: The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Exam Tiers: Some posts have a two-tier exam (CBT-I and CBT-II), while others have a single-tier exam.
- Screening: CBT-I is for screening, and final selection is based on CBT-II marks.
- Physical Test: A Physical Endurance Test (PET) is required for the State Tax Inspector post.
- Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on exam performance.
