- Attendant General Cadre / Driver G-II: 10th Grade pass, maximum 12th Grade.
- Barber G-III: 10th Grade with professional knowledge of the trade.
- CSSD Attendant / Nursing Aid G-III: 12th Grade with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- Insect Collector: 12th Grade with Science.
- BCG Technician: 10th Grade or above with a one-year BCG Training Certificate.
- Female/Male MPHW: 10th Grade or above with Science and a Diploma in FMPHW/MMPHW.
- Dhobi/Jr.Dhobi: 10th Grade or above with a professional certificate.
- Junior Store Clerk: BBA/B.Com degree with a six-month computer course.
- Dresser / Junior Pharmacist: 12th Grade with Science and a Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy.
- Junior Dental Technician: 10th Grade or above with a Diploma in Dental Technician course.
- Junior Health Inspector / Health Educator: Graduation with Science.
- Junior Laboratory Technician: 10th Grade or above with a two-year Diploma or Degree in Lab Technology.
- Junior Ophthalmic / Theatre / X-ray Technician: 10th Grade or above with a Degree/Diploma in the relevant field.
- Junior Staff Nurse: 10th Grade or above with Science and a diploma in General Nursing Midwifery.
- Para Medical Assistant: 12th Grade with a Diploma in Para Medical Assistant Course.
- Prosthetic/Orthetic Tech.: 12th Grade or above.
- Technician G-II (Lab): B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology.
- Technician G-II (Medical): B.Sc. Medical Technology.
- Refrigerator Mechanic: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or 10th Grade with an ITI certificate.
- Extension Educator: Graduation with a diploma in Mass Education.
- Sanitary Inspector: 12th Grade or above with a two-year diploma in sanitation and public health.
- Service Engineer: 10th Grade or above with a Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Staff Nurse G-II: B.Sc. Nursing/Post basic nursing.
- Warden: 12th Grade or above with a diploma/degree in Hotel management.
- Driver: 10th Grade or above with a valid HGV/PSV Driving Licence.
Selection Process JKSSB Health Department Recruitment
- The selection will be based on the merit of an Objective Type, Multiple choice Question examination.
- The questions will be in English only.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- For Driver posts, candidates must also qualify a Driving Test to be eligible for the written exam.
- Final selection is subject to Document Verification.
