 Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

 Diploma Candidates

• AICTE approved Polytechnic Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 60% marks (General/OBC)
• Minimum 55% marks (SC/ST)

 B.Sc. Candidates

• UGC recognized B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
• Minimum 55% marks (General/OBC)
• Minimum 50% marks (SC/ST)

Important Qualification Conditions:

• Only regular full-time qualifications are accepted.
• Diploma under lateral entry scheme (Class XII (Science)/ITI admitted in 2nd year) is eligible.
• Candidates with B.E./B.Tech/MBA/MCA/CA/LLB or higher qualifications are NOT eligible.
• Distance/part-time qualifications are not accepted.

 Apprenticeship Requirement

Candidates must have completed one year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 from:

• IFFCO
• Phosphatic Fertilizer Industry
• Heavy Chemical Industry
• Petroleum Refinery
• Petrochemical Industry

Only candidates who have completed or will complete apprenticeship by 30 April 2026 are eligible.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years (General Category)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC (NCL) – 3 Years
• IFFCO Deceased Employee Dependent – 3 Years
• IFFCO Ex-Apprentices – 3 Years

Age proof must be supported by Matriculation/10th Certificate.

 Training Period & Salary

• Training Duration: 1 Year
• Stipend: ₹31,000/- per month + allowances as per rules

After Successful Training:

• Absorption in Grade L0
• Pay Scale: ₹34,000 – ₹64,000
• Basic Pay: ₹34,000 + other allowances
