BEL Recruitment 2026 Notification Overview
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released Advertisement No. 383/HR/HLS&SCB/2025-26 dated 20 May 2026 for recruitment of Field Operation Engineers (FOE) and Project Engineer-I (PE-I) on temporary basis for its Homeland Security & Smart City Business (HLS&SCB) SBU.
The recruitment is for various project sites across Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

Experience Required (As on 01 June 2026)
Field Operation Engineer
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
- Networking, Data Centre Operations, Database Administration
- Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP, Firewall, Linux basics, DNS, IP addressing, CCNA basics
Project Engineer – I
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Networking / Data Centre / Database Administration
Note: Teaching, internships, banking, and academic research will not be considered.

- FOE: 40 Years
- PE-I: 32 Years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years

Salary & Benefits
Field Operation Engineer
- ₹60,000/month (1st Year)
- ₹5,000 increment per extension year
- ₹20,000/year towards insurance & allowances
Project Engineer-I
- ₹40,000/month (1st Year)
- ₹5,000 increment per extension year
- ₹12,000/year towards insurance & allowances
Medical & Life Insurance mandatory at joining.
Contract Period
- FOE: 3 Years (Extendable up to 5 Years total)
- PE-I: 3 Years (Extendable up to 4 Years total)
