Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division – Eastern Region, has released a new notification (Advt. No. IOCL/MKTG/ER/APPR/2025-26/1 dated 02 March 2026) for the engagement of 150 Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

This is an excellent opportunity for ITI, Diploma, 12th Pass, and Graduate candidates seeking apprenticeship training in a reputed Fortune Global 500 PSU.

  • Matric (10th) + 2-year ITI (NCVT/SCVT recognized)

Eligibility Period: ITI completed between 01.04.2021 to 28.02.2026

Technician Apprentice (Diploma)

Discipline Codes: 101–106
Branches:

  • Mechanical

Qualification:

  • 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant branch

  • Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Eligibility Period: Diploma completed between 01.04.2022 to 28.02.2026

Graduate Apprentice

Discipline Code: 112
Qualification:

  • Regular full-time Graduate (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA)

  • Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator

Discipline Code: 113
Qualification:

  • 12th Pass (Below Graduate level)

  • Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Age Limit (As on 28.02.2026)

  • Minimum: 18 years

  • Maximum: 24 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC (NCL): 3 years

  • PwBD: 10 years (additional relaxation as per category)

Stipend

Stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act and applicable Government Rules.

Selection Process

✔ No Written Exam
✔ No Interview

Selection will be based on:

  1. Merit list prepared on percentage of marks in qualifying examination

  2. Document Verification

  3. Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test

How to Apply?

Candidates must follow both steps carefully:

Step 1: Register & Apply on Portal

  • Trade Apprentice (ITI/DEO): Apply through NAPS portal

  • Technician/Graduate Apprentice: Apply through NATS portal

Step 2: Fill Microsoft Form

After applying on NAPS/NATS, candidates must fill the Microsoft Form and submit details including 3 location preferences before the deadline.

Failure to submit the Microsoft Form will lead to rejection.

  • Higher qualifications like B.E./B.Tech/MBA/MCA/CA etc. are NOT eligible.

  • Apprenticeship does NOT guarantee permanent employment in IOCL.
