The Reserve Bank of India Services Board (RBISB) has released an official notification for recruitment to Non-CSG Cadre posts in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for the Panel Year 2026. The recruitment is announced under Advt. No. RBISB/DA/05/2025-26.

RBI Posts: Eligibility, Age & Qualification

1️⃣ Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’

Age Limit (as on 01 Feb 2026):
21 to 32 years
(Relaxation: +3 years for LL.M, +5 years for PhD in Law)

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (minimum 50% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years as Advocate / Law Officer / Law Faculty

  • Must be enrolled with Bar Council

Selection Process:

  • Paper I: General Knowledge of Law (Objective + Descriptive)

  • Paper II: English (Descriptive)

  • Interview

2️⃣ Manager (Technical – Civil) in Grade ‘B’

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (60% marks, 55% for SC/ST)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in construction / project management / tender evaluation

Selection:

  • Paper I (Objective)

  • Paper II (Descriptive)

  • Interview

3️⃣ Manager (Technical – Electrical) in Grade ‘B’

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in electrical systems, HVAC, lifts, power systems

Selection:

  • Paper I + Paper II

  • Interview

4️⃣ Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade ‘A’

Age Limit: 21 to 30 years
(Up to 32 years for PhD holders)

Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Hindi / English / Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with translation qualifications

Selection:

  • Paper I (Objective – Reasoning, English, GA, Professional Knowledge)

  • Paper II (Descriptive – Translation)

  • Interview

5️⃣ Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security) in Grade ‘A’

Age Limit: 25 to 40 years
(No age relaxation)

Eligibility:

  • Commissioned Officer with minimum 10 years of service in Army / Navy / Air Force

  • Valid Ex-Serviceman Identity Card required

Selection:

  • Online Examination

  • Interview

RBI Salary & Pay Scale 2026

💰 Grade ‘A’ Officers

  • Basic Pay: ₹62,500 per month

  • Gross Monthly Salary: ~₹1.26 lakh (excluding HRA)

💰 Grade ‘B’ Officers

  • Basic Pay: ₹78,450 per month

  • Gross Monthly Salary: ~₹1.53 lakh (excluding HRA)
