 The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released an official notification for Temporary Appointment of Junior Engineer (Trainee) in the Infrastructure Planning and Management (IPM) Section. Eligible Diploma holders in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering can apply online. This is a contractual engagement initially for 11 months, extendable based on performance and institutional requirements.

? Educational Qualification

  • Three-year Diploma in:
  • Diploma must be from a recognized University / Institution

?? Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior field experience in the following areas will be given preference:

  • Building maintenance
  • Preparation of technical estimates
  • Tender preparation
  • Site supervision and project-related works

Selected candidates will be required to handle:

  • Field and office duties
  • Estimate and tender preparation
  • Project site visits and supervision
  • Civil / Electrical / Mechanical maintenance works
  • Project management-related tasks
