Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Full-time Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 60% marks
- Degree from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC
Qualification must be fulfilled as on 01 January 2026.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and other eligible categories, subject to fulfillment of required qualification and experience.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Building Construction works
- Candidates with maintenance works experience in buildings will be given preference
Note:
Experience related to teaching, training, consultancy, freelancing, internship, or project work will not be considered as valid experience.
IRCON Salary 2026 (Works Engineer Civil)
- Fixed Consolidated Pay: ?36,000 per month
- Annual Increment: 5% increase in fixed pay after completion of each year of service
There are no additional allowances beyond the fixed consolidated pay.

Selection Process
