Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering (4-Year Course) degree from an AICTE-approved institution or recognized university with Pass Class.

Note: The discipline mentioned in the degree certificate must exactly match the discipline prescribed in the notification.

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience
  • Preferred Experience Areas:
    • IT Infrastructure Projects
    • IP Networking & Data Centre Projects
    • CCTV / IoT / Sensor-based Systems
    • Installation, configuration, maintenance & product support services

Age Limit & Relaxation (as on 01.01.2026)

  • General: 32 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
  • SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
  • PwBD: 10 years additional relaxation
  • Maximum Age (after all relaxations): 50 years

Salary & Allowances – Project Engineer

Additional Benefits

  • Area Allowance @ 10% of salary (for site postings)
  • ?12,000 per year towards insurance, attire, footwear & related allowances

Retention Bonus

  • ?25,000 per completed year
  • Total ?1,00,000 after completing 4 years

Job Responsibilities

  • Configuration and maintenance of IP-enabled sensors, cameras, radar & electric fence systems
  • Data centre infrastructure management (servers, switches, storage, UPS, DG sets, CCTV)
  • Maintenance of IT application software and command & control centers
  • Coordination with customers, OEMs, vendors and BEL Bengaluru
  • Complaint handling, NMS verification & logistics support
  • Willingness to work in 3 rotational shifts

Selection Procedure

  • Pre-Registration mandatory (on or before 05.02.2026)
  • Walk-in Selection: Written Test + Interview
  • Venue: Jabalpur (Exact venue will be notified on BEL website by 10.02.2026)
  • Reporting Time: 08:00 AM
