Essential Qualification IOCL Apprentice Recruitment

  • Technician Apprentice: 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation/Electronics) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Trade Apprentice (ITI): Matric + 2 years full-time ITI in Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist.
  • Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator): Class 12th pass (for Fresher) or Class 12th + Skill Certificate in Data Entry Operator.
  • Graduate Apprentice: Full-time Graduate (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years old as of 30th September 2025.

Age relaxations are available for reserved categories:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  • OBC-NCL candidates: 3 years
  • PwBD candidates: 10 years

Salary details IOCL Apprentice Recruitment

  • Technician Apprentices: ?8,000–?12,000/month
  • Graduate Apprentices: ?9,000–?12,000/month
  • Trade Apprentices: Stipend as per government norms

Selection Process IOCL Apprentice Recruitment

The selection will be Based on purely merit:

  1. Merit list prepared on the basis of marks in the prescribed qualification.
  2. In case of a tie – older candidates (by date of birth) will be given preference.
  3. Candidates must be medically fit as per IOCL’s pre-engagement medical standards.
  4. Document verification and medical examination will be mandatory before final engagement.
