Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed qualification in regular mode (Distance/Part-time not allowed).
- Graduate/Technician applicants must apply within 3 years of passing.
- Candidates who have already completed Apprenticeship training are NOT eligible.
- Higher qualifications than prescribed will lead to rejection.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Merit list prepared on marks obtained in qualifying examination.
- Document verification.
- Medical Fitness Test.
- Police Verification Certificate (Mandatory before joining).
In case of tie:
- Higher marks will be considered.
- If still tie, seniority by date of birth will be considered.
Priority in Selection
Preference will be given in the following order:
- Land Affected Candidates
- Residents within 7 km of OSCOM Unit
- Wards of IREL Employees
- Residents within 10 km radius
- Odisha Domicile Candidates
- Candidates from Rest of India
Reservation policy will be applicable as per Government of Odisha norms.
Stipend
Stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and Government guidelines. No additional benefits will be provided during the training period.

Step 1: Online Registration (Mandatory)
- Trade Apprentices: Register at Apprenticeship India Portal (NAPS)
- Graduate/Technician Apprentices: Register at NATS Portal
Applications without portal registration will be rejected.
Step 2: Submit Offline Application
- Fill the prescribed application format.
- Attach self-attested copies of required documents.
- Mention on envelope:
