Assistant Foreman (Electrical) – T&S Grade C (E&M)
- Total Vacancies: 150
- Basic Pay: ₹47,330.25 per month (NCWA-XI)
- PwBD Reservation: 06 (Horizontal)
Technician (Electrician) – Cat III (E&M)
- Total Vacancies: 350
- Pay Rate: ₹1,583.32 per day
- PwBD Reservation: Not Applicable
Educational Qualification
Assistant Foreman (Electrical)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Minimum 3 years, AICTE approved)
OR - Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (AICTE approved)
Technician (Electrician)
- Matriculation (10th pass)
- ITI (2-year Electrician Trade) with NCVT/SCVT Certificate
- Minimum 1 year training/on-the-job experience
- Valid LT Permit under IE Rules for Mines or 440–550 Volt Mining Permit
Age Limit (As on 28 May 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age (UR/EWS): 30 Years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- PwBD: Up to 10–15 Years (as per category)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. norms
- Departmental Candidates (CIL & Subsidiaries): No upper age limit
Maximum age should not exceed 56 years (except departmental candidates).

Selection Process
MCL Recruitment 2026 selection will be based on:
Computer Based Test (CBT) – 100 Marks
- Section A (General Awareness & Aptitude) – 20 Marks
- Section B (Technical Knowledge) – 80 Marks
- No Negative Marking
- Bilingual Paper (Hindi & English)
Qualifying Marks:
- UR/EWS – 45%
- OBC (NCL) – 40%
- SC/ST – 35%
Shortlisted candidates (1:3 ratio) will be called for Document Verification.
Medical Fitness
Candidates must qualify Initial Medical Examination (IME) as per company rules for employment in mines.
Minimum Height Requirement: 60 inches (except eligible Dwarfism category).
