Essential Qualification BPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer Recruitment

  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent (BE/B.Tech/AMIE) in Chemical Engineering.
  • Or a Bachelor degree or equivalent (BE/B.Tech/AMIE) in Civil Engineering.
  • Or a Bachelor degree or equivalent (BE/B.Tech/AMIE) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Or a Bachelor degree or equivalent (BE/B.Tech/AMIE) in Electrical Engineering.
  • Or a Bachelor degree or equivalent (BE/B.Tech/AMIE) in Environmental Engineering.
  • B.Sc Engineering Degree is also considered equivalent to BE/B.Tech.
  • AMIE equivalent means passing Section A & B exams from the Institution of Engineers (India).

Selection Process BPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer Recruitment

  1. Written Examination (Objective Type): Paper I (General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics) - 100 Marks 2 hours. Paper II (Concerned Engineering Subject) - 300 Marks 2 hours. Negative marking of 0.33 for wrong answers.
  2. Interview: 50 Marks. Candidates 2.5 times the vacancies will be called based on written exam and experience marks.
  3. Merit List: Based on written exam and interview marks.
  4. Weightage for contractual work experience (max 25 marks 5 marks per year).

  1. First complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the BPSC website BPSC Online Application Portal.
  2. Use a valid email ID and mobile number for OTR.
  3. Login using OTR credentials and complete the profile creation steps.
  4. Upload necessary documents possibly via Digilocker.
  5. After profile lock find the advertisement under New Advertisement Tab.
  6. Apply for the post and pay the examination fee online.
  7. Download and print the application form for future reference.
