General Manager - Tracks job description:

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has rolled out the latest job notification for the 01 General Manager Vacancy. Aspirants who have qualified for a Degree and B.E/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering are eligible to apply for the Post. Qualified and Interested Candidates can apply online from 09th May 2024 to 23rd June 2024. General Manager - Tracks Qualification & experience :

(i) Should be a B.E / B.Tech Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University, approved by AICTE / UGC.
(ii) Should be an officer in SAG grade with minimum of 20 years of experience in Group-A service.
Experience : (i) Should have experience in major Rail Road Construction / Maintenance Projects / Metro and Railway Projects with hands on experience in track alignment & laying, welding of rail joints by mobile flash welding and placing of points & crossings.
(ii) Experience in construction and maintenance of Track works, Bridges, Viaduct, Contract Management, Installation and Commissioning of turnouts and coordination with other departments like operation /signal / Rolling stock & OHE will be an added advantage.

Pay Scale

  •  Rs.50,000/- per month.
