Scientific Officer C - Systems Engineer job description:

The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) has invited online applications from eligible candidates to recruit the Scientific Officer, Clerk, and Administrative Assistant Jobs. Scientific Officer C - Systems Engineer Qualification & experience :

1. Full-time BE/B.Tech Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Science (with an aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university/institute.

2. Minimum 3 years hands on experience in Drupal/WordPress CMS including module and theme development/Hands on experience on experience in carrying out system administration, on an Linux environment.In-depth knowledge and experience with VM wareGood knowledge of PHP/Python/Bash/Perl ScriptingInstallation, Compilation, Configuration and Testing with open-source applications on a Linux platformWeb development experience on LAMP stackSound knowledge of Linux OSExperience in taking up regularly upgrade of the current systems as well as maintaining periodic backups and verification.Experience in installation/integrating new applications and technologies in the system.

Salary:
Level 10 Rs. 56,100/- + allowances as per Central Government norms.

• Selection will be based on  Written test and an Interview.
