Scientific Officer C - Systems Engineer job description:

The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) has invited online applications from eligible candidates to recruit the Scientific Officer Jobs. Scientific Officer C - Systems Engineer Qualification & experience :
1. Full-time BE/B.Tech Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Science (with an aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university/institute.
2. Minimum 3 years hands on experience in Drupal/WordPress CMS including module and theme development/Hands on experience on experience in carrying out system administration, on an Linux environment.
In-depth knowledge and experience with VM ware
Good knowledge of PHP/Python/Bash/Perl Scripting
Installation, Compilation, Configuration and Testing with open-source applications on a Linux platform
Web development experience on LAMP stack
Sound knowledge of Linux OS
Experience in taking up regularly upgrade of the current systems as well as maintaining periodic backups and verification.
Experience in installation/integrating new applications and technologies in the system.

Pay scale :Rs.56,100/- + allowances as per Central Government norms.

Scientific Officer C - Systems Engineer Selection Process :  

The Selection Process will be based on Written Test/Personal Interview.
