Junior Engineer job description:

South Central Railway has rolled out the latest job notification for the 1014 Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, and Junior Engineer Vacancies. Aspirants who have qualified for 10th Pass, ITI, Diploma, B.Sc in Engineering, and Intermediate are eligible to apply. Eligible Candidates can apply online from 27th July 2023 to 26th August 2023. Junior Engineer/Diesel Mechanic/C&W : (a) Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering  (OR)  (b) A combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation & Control / Tools & Machining / Tools & Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute. 
Junior Engineer /GS/TRD/TRS  : (a) Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering (OR)  (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute. 
Junior Engineer /Signal//Tele : (a) Three years Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering (OR)  (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Junior Engineer /Track Machine : (a)Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering (OR) (b) A combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized University /Institute. 
Junior Engineer /Works/Bridges/P. Way : (a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration (OR)  (b) A combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.  *Correspondence Course for Diploma in Railway Engineering organized by IPWE Institution of Permanent Way Engineers(India)(Under the auspices of Ministry of Railways)is NOT eligible. 

Junior Engineer Selection Process :    

The Selection will be based on Computer Based Test, and Interview.
