APGENCO Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications from a recognized university.

  • Electrical Branch → B.E/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Branch → B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Electronics Branch → B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Instrumentation/Communication Engineering
  • Civil Branch → B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Equivalent qualifications approved by recognized authorities are also accepted.

APGENCO Age Limit 2026

As on 1 July 2026

  • Minimum Age → 18 Years
  • Maximum Age → 42 Years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST/BC/EWS → Up to 47 Years
  • PwBD Candidates → Up to 52 Years

APGENCO Salary 2026

Selected candidates will initially remain on probation for 2 years.

During probation:

  • Monthly Salary → ₹75,000

After probation:

  • Pay Scale → ₹86,245 – ₹2,08,915
