Project Associate and Project Assistant Job description:

Gujarat Public Service Commission Department under Government of Gujarat recruiting Archaeological Engineer in the month of June 2023.They are 04 Archaeological Engineer Vacancy.The application can submit before 30/06/2023. The minimum qualification required for the Archaeological Engineer post is Bachelors' degree/diploma in Civil Engineering and The Selection will be based on Preliminery Test/Interview.

Pay scale :Rs.9300-34800/-

Archaeological Engineer Qualification & experience :

(1) possess a bachelors' degree in Civil Engineering with at least second class obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956,;and  

(i) have about three years' experience on the post not below the rank of Conservation Assistant, Class III in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, Gujarat State, or 

(ii)have about three years combined or separate experience in the field of Civil Construction Work or Archaeology or Restoration Work in the Government / Local bodies/ Government undertaking Board / Corporation or Limited Company established by Law in India on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Conservation Assistant, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, Gujarat,  or 

(2) possess a diploma in Civil Engineering with first class obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and  

(i) have about five years experience on the post not below the rank of Conservation Assistant, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums;  or 

(ii) have about five years' combined or separate experience in the field of Civil Construction Work or Archaeology or Restoration Work in Government / Local bodies / Government undertaking / Board / Corporation or Limited Company established by Law in India on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of the Conservation Assistant, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, Gujarat;    

the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services      Classificstion and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;    

adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both. 

Archaeological Engineer Selection Process :
