The National Institute of Technology, Karnataka (NIT) has introduced the latest job notification for the 01 Junior Research Fellow Vacancy. Aspirants who have qualified for M.E/ M.Tech, B.E/ B.Tech in Production, Manufacturing, Automobile, Chemical, Control, Electrical, ECE, Power, and Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply for the Post. Qualified Candidates can apply on or before the last date of 21st November 2023. Pay scale :Rs.31,000/month (for JRF) + HRA (16%)
Junior Research Fellow Qualification & experience :
Candidate with B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Automobile Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Metallurgy Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Chemical Engineering and other allied disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination. (Old GATE score is also considered). (OR) M.E./M.Tech. in Manufacturing/Production Engineering /Welding Technology/Machine Design / Mechatronics / Power Electronics / Control Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Machine Dynamics / Chemical Engineering and other allied areas with a first division in both graduate and post graduate degrees. Candidate must have qualified GATE examination (Old GATE score is also considered).
Junior Research Fellow Selection Process :
The Selection Process will be based on Interview.
How to apply: Interested candidates must apply with the following documents (1) JRF Application Form, (2) Cover letter, (3) Bio-data with passport-sized photograph, (4) Scanned copies of educational certificates and mark sheets, class XII onwards (5) GATE qualified certificate and (6) Scanned copies of Proof for research experience, special achievements, and publications, if any. The soft copies of all the above documents (pdf format) must be emailed to the P.I., Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Sahu (ranjeetsahu.j@nitk.edu.in) by 21st November, 2023. The email address for correspondence is given above. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and called for Offline interview. The position is available immediately. Interview is most likely to be held during last week of November 2023.The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis co-terminus with the project.
