Vacancy Details

1 Income Tax Inspector

No. of Vacancies: 3

Age Limit: 18-30 years

Pay Level-7 (Rs.44900- 142400)

Educational Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree from a Recognized University or equivalent

2 Tax Assistant

No. of Vacancies: 7

Age Limit: 18-27 years

Pay Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100)

Educational Qualifications Required:  (i) Bachelor's Degree from a Recognized University or equivalent & (ii) Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

3 Multi- Tasking Staff

No. of Vacancies: 10

Age Limit: 18-25 years

Pay Level-1 (Rs.18000-56900)

Educational Qualifications Required: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/Board

Age Relaxation:

Relaxation of Age is as listed below:
05 years for General/OBC candidates & 10 years in case of SC/ST candidates
(As per OM dated 03.10.2013 of DoPT, Govt. of India, relating to Consolidated
Instructions on Incentives for sports persons)

 

Tax Inspector Tax Assistant and MTS Job Opportunities in Income Tax Department- Govt of India

Note:

(i) The candidate must have attained the Stipulated Age/Educational
Qualifications/Sports Eligibility as on 17.03.2023.
(ii) Departmental candidates with three years of continuous service in Central
Government can apply up to an age of 40 years (45 years for SC/ST candidates).
(iii) The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Any Graduate and Metric Pass Job Opportunities in Income Tax Department 2023 Selection Process:

The written examination for the post of Income Tax Inspectors/Tax Assistants/Multi-Tasking Staff will be in English/Hindi & will consist of objective type multiple choice questions in General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude, General English & General
Awareness. Based on the aggregate marks obtained in the first phase and the second phase,
the candidates will be ranked for selection. The candidates applying for Tax Assistant posts
will be required to qualify the Data Entry Skill Test @8000 key depressions per hour, as per
the provisions of the relevant recruitment rules
