QUESTION:
I am looking at volt = Joules / Coulomb.
Fact: A 9 volt battery is providing 9 volts.
Fact: The 9 volts is equivalent to 9 Joules per Coulomb.
Now. I am also looking at, being taught, that:
1 volt = 1 watt / ampere
1 volt = 1 joule / coulomb
Volts = Joules / Coulomb
QUESTION:
Fact: I am looking at each side of the slash.
Fact: Regardless of what is placed there.
Curious: Whatever is placed in either side right? What does either side represent?
I am believing that both sides ALWAYS represent:
Left side of slash: "what is being worked or heated to make electrons flow". Correct?
Right side of slash: "how many electrons are flowing or measured"
The slash represents "per second" correct?
I hope you understand what I am asking and please forgive me. Every clan has a language indeed. And electrical language (as others) is a process (English accent) to process (American English) to progress in.
